A rational austere shape and the use of very few simple materials create a particularly sensuous quality in the design of this single-family house. The entire building envelope is constructed of a wooden cladding providing both facade integration and visual quality based on board texture. The ground floor of the compact three stories house accommodates the entrance, technical space, dining and living area, with an integrated kitchen. The living space extends out via large glazed sliding doors to external wooden terraces. From the ground floor a staircase leads to upper levels housing bed rooms together with compact bathrooms. The parents 1st floor bedroom provides an access to roof terrace occupying entire plan of ground floor living area. Second floor is designed as a children’s zone.
